Have you ever worked for a company that you wished demonstrated more faith-based values in leadership? Christian-based leadership training is offered to all staff members of large and small companies that intentionally wish to focus on teamwork, effective communication, ethics, and servant leadership. Coaching is designed to promote transformational thinking and to ensure members are stimulated, engaged, and aware of the traits, mindsets, and attitudes necessary for embracing a positive and productive professional relationship while connecting with others.
All members of an organization can serve as leaders in some respect. Leadership is not based on titles. What inspires you to lead? Is it an innate trait or a learned passion? Typically, if you have the inspiration to lead, it begins with an internal drive. It is like having the keys to a new car. You have the tools to move forward but must engage in the right gear. As you approach each day, you will be expected to make numerous decisions so keep in mind the road ahead can be full of bumps but also endless opportunities. As you know, some decisions you will not be able to recant, so think realistically as you lead yourself and others you encounter.
Some would say it is an anomaly to work in an environment where you feel 100% valued, respected, and uplifted daily. What a dream! Even if you are ubiquitous and always willing to go the extra mile, not all leaders will see your true value and determination. Finding yourself in a euphoric atmosphere day after day may seem quite impossible. Yet, if you love what you do and those who work with you, life will prove to be much more enjoyable and rewarding.
As you examine your style of leadership, keep in mind that every team will face challenges and within each team, every member will need to respect the differences of each member for a true bond to form and success to occur. Everyone on the team will display different types of leadership and some may not be the best at following but everyone can be empowered in some fashion. According to the bible, as Jesus led the disciples, He didn’t treat any of them with a lesser level of respect. He was honest with them, kind, and supportive. If we strive to be more like Him, we can gain respect for being an authentic leader.
